there's smth wrong with blogger. hm. oh well. i hope this entry shows. if it doesn't and is published much later, you know why.
been a week since i last blogged! its becoming routine. hahaa.. bad. but no time to blog everyday or more frequently for that matter.
last sunday! went out for coffee and a movie at vivo. love and honour really deserved the 5 stars they got! there isn't much plot. in fact the whole story is very simply summarised in a few lines on the gv page. but the way they did it was really impressive. the flow was there, the set, the acting, everything! hahaa.. touching indeed. sometimes you never realise how much you've lost until you've lost them. dun wait till then. you dun always have a second chance. you dun always get back what you have lost. if you do, you're really blessed.. then went outside to escape from the cold. haha.. spent some time talking. it is a nice place. =P
my busy week didn't turn out far too busy in the end! cos while i was still fretting over my schedule while we had pw meeting on monday, ching ching offered to buy my harmoc second hand from me! i was super happy! sold it for 100, 30 less than original but 30 dollars for freedom is like the best bargain ever. not that i dun like harmoc, but its not my priority right now. i'd rather put my time and energy to other stuff. perhaps with lesser commitments in future i might pick it up again!
things happened in class over the week. makes me feel so blessed to have the pw group i'm in. hopefully things straighten out for the rest of them!
i ponned lecture for the second time! hahaa.. this time quite exciting. half of our class just decided to pon math lecture. not that it would make much of a difference if we were there anyway. then we stoned at class bench. and then like the previous time i ponned, ms yang came down for food!! we saw her walking towards the class benches then we were just scrammed! hid behind the pillar next to our class bench while she approached someone at another class bench. we were waiting for her to hurry leave but she continued talking for quite a while. so we decided to run across to the other wing. and so we did. not before telling those at the canteen to siam away in case she goes to the canteen and spots them though. then stoned till tutorials. getting quite disillusioned with the system. i wonder if its the school or just how jcs are like. oh well.
attended the overseas education seminar. one and only one conclusion. i will never be going overseas to study. if i do, my parents probably would have to sell the car the house and all thats under their name. >< not that i really want to go overseas to study. i suppose it would be interesting. but its sad to leave all the people you know for months to go abroad and be a stranger there.
what did i do today? collect newspaper! haha.. yea. only did half a block. but its interesting. and very profitable! haha.. next time you need extra income, just go collect newspaper. =P
small group was very interesting today. we worked on the famous daniel and the lions' den story. but gained quite a few new insights. its easy to read bout pple who succeed both in the world and with God, pple who find the courage to stand up for what they belief in despite knowing the terrible consequences. but how many of us can do it? can you balance school work, relationships, your ministry and spiritual growth? i think its difficult. very. and then there was the other question on how we make decisions. do you make it on gut feeling? instincts? conscience? principles? is it possible to always think something out logically? i dun think so. there are so many things we cannot make sense of. in that case, i'd rather make my choices based on what i believe is right. haha..
